About Us

We are a family farming business comprising Jim & Anne Seatter and James & Ingrid Thorburn.

We grow both High Grade seed and ware derived from our own input seed stocks as well as feed barley and silage crops for our beef suckler herd.

We take pride in offering the highest quality seed and ware potatoes to our customers. Our potatoes are grown on our own farms and rented land and after being harvested are dried and cold stored to ensure customers receive the best possible quality, flavour and texture.

We provide a convenient delivery service to local shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants in Orkney and can happily arrange transport for orders to Shetland.  

Large seed orders leave the farm in either one tonne boxes or large jumbo bags on curtainsiders and we arrange the transport to fit in best with shipping and weather conditions.
